Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 lb (450g) lean ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup grated onion (squeeze out excess liquid)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil spray

Method

Method
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix turkey, egg, oat flour, grated onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until just combined — overmixing makes meatballs dense.
  3. Shape into 16 meatballs, about 1.5 tablespoons each.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket and arrange meatballs in a single layer, without touching.
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let rest 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

Work in batches if your basket is small — crowded meatballs steam instead of browning. A meat thermometer removes the guesswork on doneness.
