Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder about 30g
  • 1/4 cup milk dairy or unsweetened almond/oat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey to taste
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 4-5 chocolate sandwich cookies roughly crushed

Method

Method
  1. Add the cottage cheese, protein powder, milk, vanilla extract, and sweetener to a blender.
  2. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, until completely smooth, with zero visible cottage cheese curds.
  3. Add the ice cubes and blend again until thick, like soft-serve. Add a small splash more milk if your blender needs help moving it.
  4. Pour into a glass, then fold in the crushed cookies by hand with a spoon — this keeps them as distinct crunchy pieces instead of pulverizing them into the base. Eat right away.

Notes

Have a Ninja Creami? Skip the ice in step 3. Freeze the blended base without cookies overnight, run it on the Lite Ice Cream setting, then stir in the crushed cookies right at the end. This makes 2 servings and is best fresh.
