High-Protein Strawberry McFlurry Copycat

A fruity high-protein strawberry McFlurry copycat made with cottage cheese, vanilla protein powder, and frozen strawberries.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 2 servings
Course: Dessert, Snack

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder about 30g
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup milk dairy or unsweetened almond/oat milk
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey to taste

Method

  1. Add the cottage cheese, protein powder, milk, and about half the frozen strawberries to a blender.
  2. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until completely smooth, with no visible curds.
  3. Add the remaining frozen strawberries and blend again in short pulses so small strawberry flecks remain for a McFlurry-style swirl look and texture.
  4. Taste and add sweetener if needed, pulse once more to combine, then pour into a glass and eat right away.

Notes

Have a Ninja Creami? Blend everything smooth, freeze the base in the pint container overnight, then run it on the Lite Ice Cream setting. Fresh strawberries work in a pinch, but add a handful of ice cubes for thickness. Makes 2 servings and is best fresh.
